From ScotLUG

Jump to: navigation, search

When several brave souls organized the ScotLUG Linux install day in Stirling, I htought it was fairly successful, however every attendee I spoke to already had significant computing ability and some experience with Linux.

I really admired Bob Kerr's OpenOffice library CD project, and think that Linux advocacy needs to get out and stop preaching to the choir. One thing I thought of was to run a stall demoing Linux in Braehead shopping centre.

It'd need bodies and computers - but also furniture. It'd be good if we could get posters and stands set up too.

Any thots?
