The ScotLUG Mediawiki namespace on this wiki is meant for drafts of articles made by pasting in bits of irc conversation. We do this to bookmark the snatches of chat, so we don't forget we solved a problem but don't get bogged down when we're in full flight.

It's in a separate namespace so nobody gets confused between these scraps and real wiki pages. And anyway this namespace was here by defaultm and unused :-)

Please don't include banter and other personal comments. #scotlug doesn't have a public archive, and that was a deliberate collective decision. Particularly foolish comments made on IRC may however end up posted on http://bash.org

Big Fat Suggestion: be less worried about converging on the solution than defining the problem well. Problem finding is usually harder than problem solving. And often the best problem fixers are not the best problem finders.
